London Turkish Radio is the only legitimate, licensed Turkish Radio broadcasting outside of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus. Since 2014, my responsibilities at LTR included creating a new, modern appearance online and raising brand awareness. The logo got a redesign and is now following flat design rules, offering more stability and grounding for the brand. As an established brand following a corporate identity was crucial to stay up-to-date with their old and new audience. Listening to a radio station shouldn't be complicated - our approach at LTR was to make radio easily accessible through social media and a mobile app. Switching from a medium wave, traditional broadcaster to an online-exclusive broadcast served as a necessary change. Today, social media is one of the key elements of the success of LTR.
